There are rich tourism resources in Pacific Island countries and the tourism industry is a polar industry of many countries. Up to now, seven countries in the area have become the tourism destination countries of Chinese citizens which include Papua New Guinea, Fuji, Samoa, Vanuatu, Tonga, Micronesia and Cook Island. There is great promise for the tourism cooperation between China and Pacific Island countries. China-Pacific Island Countries Tourism Cooperation Seminar will be held from 3:30 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. on September 8th in the Meeting Room 305, Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center, where officials from Tourism organizations of Pacific Island countries will give introduction to their policies of tourism resources and investment, and Chinese enterprises which have already carried out tourism cooperation projects will exchange opinions on investment.
